Ullambana Ceremony at Dang Phap pagoda – Binh Phuoc Province.

Harmony with on the atmosphere of welcoming the Ullambana Ceremony, on the morning of August 26th, 2018 (lunar 16/07 the year of dog), Dang Phap Pagoda, village No 2, Doan Ket commune, Bu Dang district, Binh Phuoc province, solemnly celebrated the Great Ceremony of Ullambana.
Dang Phap Pagoda at Village 2, Doan Ket Commune, Bu Dang District, Binh Phuoc Province is one of the new branches of Hoang Phap Pagoda managed by Ven Thich Tam Quang. Dang Phap pagoda has been approved by the local government for the diocesan registration of temporary religious activities from 03/2018. Although the infrastructure is still very difficult to hold a ceremony, but with the kindness and sincerity of the Buddhist here, the abbot has bravely held a ceremony full of this meaning.
The ceremony was attended by the Most Venerable Thich Dong Tan - vice head of Buddhist Sangha of Vietnam’s in Thai Binh province; chairman of Committee for religious affair in Vietnam, Bu Dang district with the monks and nuns of the provinces, districts and localities.
On behalf of the government, there are representatives of the leaders of departments, unions of the province, district, and localities together with the Buddhists who returned to attend the ceremony.
The speech for the ceremony, Venerable Thich Dong Tan on behalf of religion's present deputies praised the spirit of piety of all Buddhists. Ulambana ceremony is a great festival in the heart of the Buddha’s children, derived from the spirit of gratitude and repaying according to the Buddha’s teachings. We do not just give gratitude to our parents by our adequate physical care; Besides, the filial children who need to live well, have virtue, and know to keep on five commandments. Our life being well, having virtue, knowing the five precepts will partly affect our parents. We will be a good example for parents to rely on Three Jewels to have a peaceful life in the present and future.
