Ullambana ceremony at Vinh Phap pagoda in Nha Trang province

Response to the invitation of Junior Ven. Thich Tam Dac, the Sanghas of Hoang Phap Pagoda came to Vinh Phap Pagoda in Nha Trang City to support the celebration of Ullambana on morning of September 2nd, 2017 (lunar July 12th, Rooster year).

In the spirit of gratitude and pious repaying on the Ullambana holiday, over 100 good men and believing woman came to Vinh Phap Pagoda on the hill 82, Hon Nghe 1 Ham Let, Vinh Ngoc Commune, Nha Trang City to attend the ceremony.   

The ceremony officially began at 8 A.M. First, it was the section of flower offering which was performed by the young of Buddhist families. Next, it was the rite of rose flower pinning, one of the rites that could not be lack of the ceremony. All of mandala listened to Buddhist Thuyen Thuyen who read the significance of rose pinning. Thank to the support of ten-direction Buddhas, before the witness of the Venerable, the mass led to Triratna which worshiped and showed  their parents’ ten great gratitude.

Continuously the program, on behalf of the mass, the young Buddhists offered robes to the Sanghas.

Preaching dharma to the ceremony, on behalf of monks, Junior Ven. Thich Tam Dao praised the Buddhists’ pious mind and accepted giving alms. He mentioned the duties of children that they should well practice the word of “pious”’; therefore, this action will deserve the parents’ noble love for us. Besides that, not only repaying to parents as of serving and taking care them, we must encourage and advice our dad and mum that they should refuge on Triratna to have happiness at present and in the future as well.
