Visit and preach a Dharma talk at Hoang Phap pagoda of Ven. Pomnyun Sunim and Sr Giac Le Hieu

On the occasion of an affair trip in Vietnam in the afternoon of April 4th, 2023, Ven. Pomnyun Sunim (Korea) and Sr Giac Le Hieu visited, and then had a dharma conversation at Hoang Phap Pagoda; Monks, Buddhists, and good men - believing women of the temple attended the meeting

Ven. Pomnyun Sunim confided about his lucky conditions coming to the Dharma. Having enough blessings to meet his wisdom master, he enlightened to the truth, determined to follow the Blessed One deliverance path. From the Buddha's example, illuminating his life and realizing true happiness, he oriented the way to propagate the Dharma and save sentient beings, spreading the light of truth to all social classes, especially young people. He went to schools to preach, gradually established organizations serving humanity, then opened universities, brought Buddhism into society with a new look in a simple shirt to integrate into daily life.

During the lecture, Ven. reminded the mass, although material life in modern society is more advanced, the pursuit of happiness in spirituality is not proportional to economic development. That's because we keep chasing after material values, making people's minds become restless and miserable. Therefore, he encouraged listeners to cultivate their inner values, look back at the Buddha's life to reflect on themselves, find their own inherent purity, and spread the energy of peace and happiness to others.

After the preaching, the Zen Master spent 30 minutes answering questions from monks and Buddhists to exchange Buddhist culture between Vietnam and Korea.
