Visit to Cambodia Hoằng Pháp Pagoda

Head Master Thich Chan Tinh of Hoằng Pháp Pagoda and monks of the pagoda visit Cambodia Hoằng Pháp Pagoda located in Hamlet 1A, Svay Rolum Ward, Takhmau City, Cambodia on Oct. 14th, 2025.

The Most made the trip to visit and encourage local monks and Buddhists after the border conflicts between Cambodia and Thailand.

 

Arriving at Hoang Phap pagoda in Cambodia, the delegation saw the lives of the people as well as the practice and activities of monks and Buddhists here were fortunately stable and not affected by the fighting. The Abbot of Cambodian Hoang Phap Pagoda, Junior Thich Tam Truc shared that the fighting occurred more than 350 km away from the pagoda area, so the residents’ lives here as well as the pagoda's activities were not affected. Thanks to the local government's attention and support, all activities at the pagoda still took place smoothly and peacefully.

 

Since the establishment of Hoang Phap Pagoda in Cambodia 12 years ago, the pagoda has gradually completed the construction items. In particular, the pagoda has built a free Primary School for children in the area. It is expected the School will officially open and operate from Nov. 1st, 2025 by the name of Hoang Phap Love Primary School after completing legal procedures.

 

Junior Thich Tam Truc guided the delegation to visit some nearby locations, including Techo International Airport and Wat Phnom when finished paying homage to the Three Jewels, visiting the temple, and greeting monks and Buddhists.

 

In a solemn atmosphere of deep religious relationship, the visit partly encouraged the spirit of practicing of the monks, nuns, and Buddhists far from home on propagating the Dharma overseas.
