Visiting the Branch at Binh Phuoc Province

On December 5th, 2016 morning (Lunar November 7th in Monkey Year), Venerable Thich Chan Tinh – abbot of Hoang Phap pagoda visited the new branch in the 2nd village, Doan Ket commune, Bu Dang district, Binh Phuoc province.

Linking the retransmitted career of Buddha’s preaching, “Widely propagating the Buddhist-truth is the duty we should do for ourselves; others can get great results.” At the beginning of 2015, the Venerable taught his practitioner, Junior Venerable Thich Tam Quang, who came to this place to exploit, create religious place bringing Buddhism to local people.

Until now, the monks have built temporary premises including 1 lecture hall, 2 boarding rooms, 1 kitchen and 1 toilet area as places for studying and living for monks and Buddhists.

Located behind the temporary housing is the hill and rubber trees which are in reclamation phase. With compassion and immense love of the teacher - who has been through a lot of difficulties in creating ashrams, was not afraid of distance, the Venerable has visited and motivated monks and Buddhist at this place. . He instructed: “The preaching deeds have increasingly difficult obstacles, the career of the religion becomes meaningful”. At the same time, he reminded that though hard work, the monks should not neglect to practice and study that they should try to increase the intellectual foundation.

Monks must have sufficient virtue and right view aiming to encourage all living beings, and guide Buddhists on the right path that the Buddha taught.
