Visiting the Late Most Venerable Thich Buu Long

On Nov 28, 2017 (Oct 11, lunar calendar), due to old age and health problem, Most Venerable Thich Buu Long, Abbot of Thien Lam pagoda, Hoc Mon Dist., HCMC, passed away

In the evening of Nov 29, 2017 (Oct 12, lunar calendar), monks from Hoang Phap pagoda, on behalf of Abbot Thich Chan Tinh, came to offer incense, pay the last tribute to the late Most Venerable and pray for his reincarnation in Buddha land.

When he was alive, his mind always turned to preaching Dharma to benefit beings at best. He helped not only people access Dharma, but also his family believe in cause and effect rule, take refuge in Triratna, do donation, and convert the house to pagoda to serve Triratna and the mass. Despite his passing away, his large merits and bright example are still here for us to learn.
