Visiting the Late Most Venerable Thich Quang Dao

The Most Venerable Thich Quang Dao, Member of Testimony Council of Vietnam Buddhist Church, Abbot of Phuoc Vien Pagoda, Bien Hoa, Dong Nai Province, has passed away on Sep 06, 2017 (Jul 16, lunar calendar).

Today Sep 11, 2017 (Jul 21, lunar calendar), on behalf of Abbot Senior Venerable Thich Chan Tinh and the Sangha, clergy representatives of Hoang Phap pagoda come to visit the late Most Venerable, offer incense and pray for his achievement at Buddha Land. In the sacred moment, juniors bow and pay homage as the tribute to the Most Venerable for his contribution and sacrifice to Dharma. Regardless his passing away, his heritage is still alive in the mind of his students and everyone. He devoted his whole life for the sake of education and training talents for Sangha, sowing good seeds in Dhamma field for the future of Buddhism. We, descendants, are sincerely grateful for his gracious devotion!
