Visiting Truc Lam Chanh Giac Monastery, Tien Giang

The Monks from Hoang Phap Pagoda arrived to visit Truc Lam Chanh Giac Monastery located at Hamlet 1, Thanh Tan Commune, Tan Phuoc District, Tien Giang Province on Feb. 15th, 2020 (on Jan. 22nd, the Rat year).

This is a monastery is considered one of the largest ones in the country. There are four Buddhist relics: (Sacred Places) in the ratio of 6/10 compared to the prototype, including Lumbini garden where Buddha was born, Bodhgaya where the Buddha attained Enlightenment, Isipatana (Deer Park) where the Buddha set up motion the Wheel of Dharma, Kusinara where Buddha passed away.

This occasion, the delegation also visited Vinh Trang Pagoda located on Nguyen Trung Truc Street, My Tho City, Tien Giang Province. This is a famous Pagoda in the South, ranked national historical - cultural monument, a famous pilgrimage and tourist destination.
