Wedding at the pagoda – Vietnam and Japan Connection.

Under witness to the Sangha, Tay Khanh Pagoda (at Cao Thuong, Quang Hung, Kien Xuong, Thai Binh) held a wedding ceremony for groom Iwata Kunio, a man of Japanese and bride Tran Thi Huong on November 8, 2019 (October 12, the year of the pig).
It is known, a wedding at the pagoda is a beauty in Buddhist culture, under the sacred statue of the Buddha and the witness of the Three Jewels, the young couple vow a life of faithfulness and obey the ethics rules of the Buddha's disciples. This memory will keep a deep impression in the hearts of two people, so that in the path of life there are times when tripping, both will know to stop mistakes and respect each other more. Therefore, it can be said the wedding at the pagoda is the beauty of Buddhist culture and in the marriage culture of Buddhists.
After declaring the reason, introducing the program and participants, representatives of the two families offered petition words for monks to witness their marriage. After the family's petition acceptance, the monks presented incense to the Buddha praying for the happiness to the young couple.
In the solemn atmosphere of the mass, the rite of prostration was performed together. Next, Junior Ven. Thich Tam Kinh, abbot of Tay Khanh pagoda, proclaimed the meaning of a wedding ring. The bride and groom performed together the ritual of giving a ring under the proof of the Monks.
Junior Ven. Thich Tam Dao, on behalf of the current monks, had some dharma words, praising the families when organizing the Wedding ceremony at the pagoda. The monk shared what is needed to have a happy, sustainable family. A harmony family when each member loves, sympathies, respects, listens to each other, and knows how to forgive each other's faults.
By this way, he reminded the young couple to prepare the necessary things to be a father and mother in the future. The most essential thing is that each family member must know how to study the Buddha Dharma, live a good life, believe in cause and effect, evil and bless things, and then taking refuge in the Triple Gem. From here, each person will feel the peace and happiness for this life and the next.
Afterwards, the monks gave The Wedding Certificate and a gift portion to blessing to the young couple.
