Welcome the Buddha's Birthday Ceremony at Hoa Phuc Pagoda

Buddha, who gave the birth of wisdom to us,

His mind is as boundless as the great ocean

Infinite treasures are grouped in His heart

The merit and wisdom is often full

His samadhi power is transcendent.

The Buddha is the symbol of compassion and wisdom. The moment I realized His virtue had absorbed into my heart, watering good seeds had been buried in craving and suffering, so that I continuously live a usual life, overcoming fear, violence and hatred,... ; thanks to the moments of having Buddha in life, my happiness arises every day.

On the day the World's Honored One was born, sublime wisdom was explored, six realms absorbed with joy, deliverance was opened and demons were hidden themselves. Sentient beings today could have ever been dust or foliage in Lumbini Garden in the past to be seen the Blessed One being born; as a result, we hear the sound of birds singing, the sentient beings praising, my mind is  filled with joy.

The Buddha is the presence of happiness and peace. He Himself blends in with all things, nature, is always alive and solid for those who want to understand and rely on.

Today, I observe the Blessed One on each blooming lotus, child’s smile, mother's wrinkles, father's rough hands, etc; each meaningful thing is like a lotus lifting the Buddha's steps coming into life. It is the practice and good seeds that the Buddha's disciples always keep in mind, following His example, so that we will be happy now and in the future.

The stream of compassionate waters of understanding and loving is watered upon You, the supreme Teacher of God and Man!

Today being bathed the Tathagata

How shining wisdom and great merit are

Sentient beings of the three realms are sinking

Seeing Tathagata and his shape appears in the world. 

All of above, the pagoda has motivated a movement to copy the scriptures of Buddha's birthday, set up and posted a website "Bathing Buddha online", encouraging Buddhists to hang the Buddhist flag and welcome the Buddha's birthday at home.
