Welcoming the New Year's Eve at Dong Cao Pagoda - Thanh Hoa

At the moment of New Year coming, people from all over returned to Dong Cao Pagoda at Nga Yen Commune, Nga Son District, Thanh Hoa Province to attend the New Year's Eve ceremony.

After three sound series of prajna bells and drums, Junior Thich Tam Hung, the abbot of Dong Cao pagoda came to the lecture hall to burn incense to the Buddha, worship the repentant rite of six senses, and meditate in the Buddha recitation. The moment of New Year's Eve, the mass contemplated the fireworks and the bells of drums sounding to welcome the new year.

After that, the mass together practiced solemn prostrations of exceptional favour and chanting Sigalovada sutta. Next, Buddhist Mai Thi Trong (Lien Thanh), vice director of Buddhists, may the Abbot live a longevity life and hope him to give some dharma words.

Junior .Ven accepted and gave wishes to all participants and their family a new year of peace, happiness, and all things as hope, along with all of them as propagators who bring the Buddha's teachings to life. With simple words mention of the buffalo in Buddhism, Junior Ven. helped the mass understand what to do and what should not do, always try to cultivate wisdom on the path of perfecting the personality.
