Welcoming the New Year's Eve at Dong Cao Pagoda - Thanh Hoa

At the moment of Lunar New Year coming, people from all over returned to Dong Cao Pagoda inThanh Hoa Province to attend the New Year's Eve ceremony on the evening of Jan. 31st, 2022 (on Dec. 29th, LC).

After three sound series of prajna bells and drums, Junior Thich Tam Hung, the abbot of Dong Cao pagoda came to the lecture hall to burn incense to the Buddha, chanted Sigalovada sutta and recited the Buddha names to welcome the lunar new year.

Next, Buddhist Nguyen Tai Hung, dharma name Tinh Hung, head member of Buddhists, may the Abbot live a long life and hope he would give some dharma words.

The Abbot accepted and gave wishes to all participants and their family a new year of peace, happiness, and all things as hope; wishing them to be propagators, who bring the Buddha's teachings to life. With simple words mentioning the tiger in Buddhism, Junior helped the mass understand what to do and what should not do, always trying to cultivate wisdom on the path of perfecting the personality.
