Wishing a long life to the Senior Abbot

After the three months of the rain retreat, all monks representing the branches of Hoang Phap pagoda returned to the pagoda to pay homage, wish good health and celebrate the age of Senior Ven Thich Chan Tinh on the morning of Sep. 8th, 2020 (on July 21st, Year of Mouse).
In the spirit of gratitude and repayment of the Buddha’s disciples towards the origin, on behalf of the Sangha, Junior Ven. Thich Tam An as the abbot of Hung Phap pagoda in Dong Nai had a speech to wish longevity and gratitude, and then offered a wreath of honor and almsgiving to the master.
The Master Ven. was very pleased with the monks' filial mind. At that moment, he had a few words of instruction for his disciples. First of all, the Senior Ven. gave praise and thanks to the monks who had returned to wish his religious age. This year, the monks have the organization, arrangement of the return date, collectively wish together, not perform sparely as every year. He hopes this will be an annual traditional holiday in the custom of Hoang Phap pagoda with the post generations.
The master Ven. also talked about the difficulties and challenges for a person who initially builds a new branch will be mentally and physically lacking. In fact, the need to set up a council of Bhikkhus is necessary to resolve and decide on issues arising in the branches of Hoang Phap pagoda. Finally, the Senior Ven. reiterated the duty, purpose of the monk is to train ethics, practice and the mission of promoting Dharma for profitability - according to the principle of Hoang Phap pagoda.
