Year-End Meeting of Hoang Phap Executive Committee

In the afternoon of Jan 15, 2018 (Nov 29, lunar calendar), Hoang Phap Executive Committee had year-end meeting.

Coming to witness the event was Venerable Thich Tam Dao, Deputy Abbot of Hoang Phap Pagoda. After the report on budget balance sheet and activities in 2017, it was the review of Buddhism fundamentals for members.

After that, the Deputy Abbot delivered a brief Dharma talk to motivate and praise the devout spirit of the whole team in the last year. He also shared his personal experience regarding the opportunity knowing Buddha teachings and being an ordained monk at Hoang Phap Sangha. Via the talk, he has helped audience understand more about the characteristic of a true monk. Based on that, Buddhists could learn and get advices from monk to promote Buddhism knowledge, shy away from current false view and superstitious practices. Every Buddhist should have right view in reverence and offerings to eligible clergy who are virtuous, moral and committed in preaching Dhamma so that Buddhism can develop and serve more sentient beings.

At the end, the Deputy Abbot sent souvenirs to every member in the committee. The meeting closed in the joys of all.
