Year-end party and summarizing ceremony 2024 of Hoang Phap Pagoda 's Vovinam Kung fu Class

All the Organizers of Vovinam Kung fu Class held a Year-end party and summarizing ceremony on the evening of Jan. 17th, 2025.

The ceremony was witnessed by Junior Thich Tam Nguyet, Deputy Abbot of the Pagoda and Monks. The mass watched a clip summarizing the activities and achievements of the class during the past year.

 

On behalf of the monks, Junior Thich Tam Nguyet, Deputy Abbot of Hoang Phap Pagoda had some dharma words to the mass. Martial arts are not only for training a healthy body, improving self-defense and protecting others, but also importantly for cultivating martial virtues, training the inner self and morality in the spirit of martial nobility.

 

 Donors, Coaches, and members of the Class respectfully gave offerings to the monks and gifts to the Coaches in the will of gratitude to Triple Gem.

 

The ceremony was very lively with performances by singers Mai Vy, Phuong Vy, Thien Huong, Khanh Van. Finally, Junior Thich Tam Nguyet and Junior Thich Tam Hoa cut the cake to congratulate; the members of the class enjoyed the New Year's Eve vegetarian buffet together.
