The Five-Hundred-Name Prostration Rite of Bodhisattva Avalokiteshvara.
Update: 03/08/2026
In celebration of Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva's enlightenment, Hoang Phap Pagoda held a prostration rite honoring Her names at 18:00 p.m on the evening of June 19th, Lunar calendar.
Successfully concluding five days of devotion, this is a wholesome opportunity for Buddhists to turn toward Bodhisattva Avalokiteshvara, reverently honoring Her compassionate vows to relieve suffering and rescue beings from adversity.
In the Five Hundred Names ritual, the pagoda guides devotees to revere Bodhisattva Avalokiteshvara's compassion and wisdom. Manifesting endlessly according to conditions, the Bodhisattva responds to every sincere prayer, relieving suffering and leading them toward a higher spiritual life.
Each prostration expresses gratitude for the Bodhisattva’s great deeds, inspiring practitioners to cultivate compassion and mindful listening to relieve others' suffering and nourish kindness daily.
The Five Hundred Names Rite on Her Enlightenment Day brought immense joy and inner peace to all attendees.
